We look forward to seeing you at this year’s Pear Fair Runs. We hope that the following information is helpful:
Heading North on Hwy 160: Turn right onto Magnolia Avenue and follow the run parking signs past the Courtland Fire Station and into the parking area.
Heading South on Hwy 160: Turn left onto Magnolia Avenue and follow the run parking signs past the Courtland Fire Station and into the parking area.
Parking: Parking is ONLY available in the designated parking area. There is no parking on the streets of Courtland. Follow the signs to the designated parking area off Magnolia Avenue.
Start Line: The run start line is located north of the parking area on Primasing Avenue in front of the Courtland Library. From the parking area, walk past the baseball diamond and Children’s Area to Primasing Avenue.
Race Times: 10 Mile Run: 7:30am 5 Mile Run: 7:30am ½ Mile Kid Run Run: 7:45am
March 30th – May 31st: $30.00
June 1st – July 25th: $35.00
Pear Fair Day: $40.00 (if space permits)
Pre-Registered Runners: Bib pick up is the morning of the run. If you have pre-registered, please remember to pick up your green wrist band. This will ensure you will receive your race gift bag after the event. The run is limited to 250 total runners (does not include the Kids Run), so register early!
Day-Of Registration: Registration will be open the morning of Pear Fair if space permits. The fee is $40 per person. We cannot guarantee race bags for those who register the day of the run.
Registration for our ½ Mile Kids Fun Run is the morning of and FREE. All finishers receive a ribbon.
Pear Fair is a Dog-Free Event: we love dogs, but it’s just too hot for man’s best friend. Please leave them at home on Pear Fair day. The only exception is trained service animals.
Honey Bee Alert: Our run takes you through the heart of Delta agriculture and with that comes bees that pollinate the crops. Please be aware that there are beehives in the vicinity of the run course.
