Selina Landberg

My name is Selina Landberg and I am 16 Years old. This coming school year I will be a senior at Delta High School.

I am an active member of the Future Farmers of America program. This is an organization who’s goal is to get high school students involved in agriculture and teach them to be leaders. Through my experience in this program I have been able to hold the offices of chapter president and chapter reporter. Through out my past four years in this program I have also raised six market hogs for county fairs. Through high school I have also been apart of the associated student body. I also enjoy playing volleyball, basketball, and soccer.

I have a passion for agriculture, and some day would like to become a part of the agricultural industry. My future goals include attending Modesto junior college and then transferring to Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. I would like to receive a degree in Ag communications, and I am also interested in studying fruit science, and animal science. I believe that Ag communications is important, especially in this community.

I would like to be pear fair queen because I have a passion for agriculture and leadership, I believe these two go hand in hand when representing the pear industry. It would be an honor the hold the title of Pear Fair Queen and to represent the agricultural community.
